Urgent Need For Canned Cat Food at FSPCA - Jun. 11, 2010

The Fredericton SPCA is urgently in need of canned cat food for this weekend.

While the organization has a relationship with a major national company to supply all canned food at no cost, due to the recall this week of certain products, no canned cat food was available for delivery and the cupboards are now bare. 

Donations of canned cat food can be dropped off at the shelter, located at 165 Hilton Road in Fredericton.

It is expected this is one-time event and that shipments of canned food will return to normal next week as the recall issues are resolved.  

The FSPCA appreciates any assistance from the public to help us get through this weekend.

The Fredericton SPCA currently has 160 cats and kittens in its care.
