Boxes, Their Kingdom For Our Boxes - Jul. 03, 2010

 We have had the odd request over the years and have always complied.

 This time, it was a little more up close and personal.

 That hit me yesterday.

 Dawn was off for a couple of days and getting caught up with some minor renovations and news.

 "You ordered Blue Seal, too, right?" she asked.

 Now, Dawn is always on top of our orders.

 "Sure did, we are getting low back there," I said.

 "I know, but I want those boxes."

 Ah, ha.

 That was the second time in the past two weeks from two different people.

 Now, as you know, Animal Essentials is the exclusive dealer of Blue Seal pet food. We brag about it. We sell a lot of it. We are proud to be the local dealer.

 Apparently, the boxes that contain the Blue Seal treats are dyn-o-mite. Yes, the boxes...for moving.

 Friends of ours just moved in to their new neighbourhood this week and they had been collecting boxes from us for almost a month. Whenever an order arrived, the boxes were not recycled, but kept for our friends.

 "Those Blue Seal boxes are wicked," Chris told us one day.

 Hey, wait a second...the product inside the boxes are wicked, not just the tough cardboard they come in!

 Anyway, I chuckled when Dawn lauded the boxes and then she added "are we doing a Canidae order, too?"

 Apparently those boxes fit the bill for moving as well.

 So, if you are in the process of getting ready to move, let us know and we can keep the boxes for you as long as they are picked up the day of arrival.

 It will not happen soon, though. Dawn still has a couple of months to pack.
