Cookies Are Starting to Draw Some Attention - Sep. 28, 2010
We took some on the road with us for display.
They're at the front counter at Animal Essentials.
And, for some reason, they're starting to draw more and more attention.
Maybe because they look so darn good to eat ourselves.
They are our decorated cookies for dogs and the items come in all shapes and sizes for little dog bites to large dog gulps.
Yes, the "icing," is nice aqua blue, hot pink and other colours and yes they do like they could be in your local doughnut shop to have while you sip coffee or tea.
There is no sugar in them, that's the most commonly asked question when customers check them out.
They have been eaten by our youngest daughter thanks to some forced encouragement from her older sister.
They are nice treats and an alternative to some of the bagged treats that go out the door on a regular basis.
If you do buy them, most will take them and show others which starts the trend before being consumed by the dogs.
It may explain why we've had such a run on the morsels lately.
Same as canned food. For whatever reason - good, solid ingredients being one with premium foods - canned food has been an eyebrowsing increase.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
So stop in and check out the cookies and take some canned food with you for the ultimate treat...and change.
