Taking Care of the Little Things at AE - Nov. 22, 2010

When you're alone at the store well after we've closed our doors for the day, you never know what's going to catch your eye.

Although the parking lot was deserted last night, I had the chance to go in for my regular Sunday visit to check out what unfolded over the weekend in terms of getting the store ready for Monday's customers.

It's not an exact science, but I'll go up and down the alley ways, visit each section and just see what needs to be done.

Our staff does a tremendous job of keeping things neat and tidy, but the scene is different when you own the place.

Could be a long leash affixed to the short leash display or vice-versa.

Thought I'd check the tanks out last night and that's when I noticed the handiwork in terms of the written display.

 Wow.

 Talk about wickedly perfect printing!

My notes look like a doctor's been through the notepad and Tom's penmanship is right in the thick of things with me.

Nancy's artwork on the tanks is indeed a thing to behold.

Amazing what captures your attention, but that did it for me last night.

Perhaps I can take a lesson in penmanship and make it easier on everyone involved.

Our Blue Seal order is expected to arrive Saturday. I always say expected because weather at this time of year can be a gamble.

The latest arrival of apparel is also expected later in the week. I'm continually amazed at how much clothing we go through each year. Amazing, actually.
