Food Continues to Shake, Rattle and Roll - Dec. 12, 2010

 There is a definite switch going on.

More and more customers - as evidenced yesterday - are seeking food alternatives from the grocery store gimmick stuff.

 Glad to be of service.

 Blue Seal remains our stud performer.

 Sure, being the exclusive supplier helps, but it works. We had a kind lady in yesterday who was raving about her dogs and credited it to the pup being "a Blue Seal dog."

 We love hearing that.

 Funny thing is, ProSeries has really taken off at AE and we're happy with that, too. Made in Fredericton, it's a solid choice, but surprised even us when it jumped Canidae in the ranks. Acana is blazing, too, and has only been with us less than a few months. Taste of the Wild continues to hold its own with a niche audience. We actually use Taste of the Wild and Blue Seal for our dogs, mixing in some Lamb and Apple Acana once in awhile.

 Our cat goes on and off ProSeries and Blue Seal By Nature and excels on either.

 It seems more and more folks are taking an interest in what their dogs are eating.

 That can only be a good thing.
