Well, at Least There Still is a Fax Machine - Apr. 24, 2012

 It was probably the late 1990s when the newsroom went through a huge shuffle at the Telegraph Journal.

 We were getting a fax machine.

 It was going to change the way we did business as a daily newspaper.

 Imagine the possibilities?

 Well, that seems overblown now, doesn't it?

 Then came Web sites. We started this Web site a few years back and try and keep it updated as much as possible.

 Then along came Facebook and we've had quite a bit of success with our own page in that matter.

 Probably more than the Web site, in fact.

 Do we keep the Web site? Probably, for the time being, but folks want instant updates, constant change and the Web site is a bit of an encyclopedia when it comes to Facebook or Twitter.

 It's something on our mind and we will continue to monitor things.

 Facebook is where it's at right now, there's little doubt.

 Never thought I'd say that. Then again, never thought the Bruins would win the Stanley Cup again, either.
